Sid Richardson Scout Ranch is located on Lake Bridgeport, northwest of Fort Worth. From downtown Fort Worth, it is approximately 60 miles to the camp gate taking I-35 north to Hwy 287, Hwy 287 to Decatur, and Hwy 380 from Decatur to to Runaway Bay. NOTE: The new Bridge on the county road to the SR2 gate is now FINISHED. Also, the county road is now paved all the way to the camp front gate.
