Longhorn Council is home to the Texas High Adventure Base, offering outstanding BSA High Adventure programs. The Texas High Adventure Base includes the unique Chisholm Trail Adventure. Scouts from 40 states, England, Scotland, and Mexico have done High Adventure at Chisholm Trail.

Chisholm Trail Crews use pontoon boats instead of boots to do high adventure. Each High Adventure crew gets a pontoon boat to visit the high adventure outposts on our 15 miles of Lake Bridgeport shoreline! We have 10 High Adventure outposts and 3 High Adventure watersports bases. Our US Cavalry and Texas Ranger living history outposts do frontier battle reenactments! Click here for High Adventure Base details.

Texas High Adventure Base also includes Wakeboard High Adventure and the Brazos River High Adventure Trip. Order the Texas High Adventure video CD today!
